(Coordination and Translation) Rosa Maria Neves Simas

Published in 2003, as a follow-up to the 2001 Conference, the four-volume bilingual anthology Women in the Azores and the Immigrant Communities is comprised of 60 articles organized thus:

  • Volume I – Women in Society (12 articles)
  • Volume II – Women in the Arts, Traditions and Media (12 articles)
  • Volume III – Women in Education and Special Education (17 articles)
  • Volume IV – Women and Legal Issues and Health (19 articles)

Along with coordinating the publication, Rosa Simas was responsible for the translation in both languages.
